The LEGO Star Trek bridge puts the crew at the center of the adventure
Set 11385 trades the starship’s exterior for the rooms, characters and familiar movements of the original series.
A starship experienced from the inside
LEGO Icons Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Bridge, set 11385, launched September 1, 2026. Its 1,701 pieces echo the ship’s registry number, while the subject moves inside the original-series Enterprise to its bridge and transporter room.
That is a distinctive choice for a spaceship model. The focus is the space where the crew works and makes decisions, giving the characters a setting rather than presenting the ship chiefly as an exterior shape. This assessment draws on official descriptions and photographs; it is not a hands-on review.
The room is designed around familiar actions
The official product description lists a rocking captain’s chair, a dial-operated transporter and turbo lift doors opened by a lever. The modular sections can be arranged for display. Together, those features give a builder several ways to suggest the activity of an episode without constructing an entire starship.
Our reading is that the exposed room layout should make the crew easy to see and rearrange. The appeal lies in staging a small exchange at a console or an arrival from the transporter. We cannot judge the feel or durability of the mechanisms from promotional images.
Eight crew members make the setting feel populated
The roster includes Kirk, Spock, Uhura, Sulu, McCoy, Chekov, Chapel and Scotty, with four tribbles and accessories. LEGO’s announcement identifies the phaser as a new element and describes the communicators as decorated tiles. Those details give minifigure collectors something specific to examine alongside the larger architecture.
A useful way to judge the selection is to imagine the scene you would most like to arrange. A favorite character can be a reason to choose a set, but the surrounding cast determines how many different conversations and activities the display can suggest.
Plan for a broad display rather than a tall one
LEGO gives the model’s dimensions as over 9 cm high, 57 cm wide and 34 cm deep. Before choosing its home, measure the usable surface rather than just the width of the shelf. It also makes sense to leave access to the moving features if they are part of the attraction for you.
For an original-series fan, our view is that this format offers an inviting combination of character collecting and scene building. The decision is less about owning another ship silhouette and more about wanting to spend time arranging life aboard this particular Enterprise.
