Skærbæk Fan Weekend is almost here: a visitor’s guide for curious builders
The September 26–27 gathering offers a chance to explore fan creations. Here is what the organizer confirms and how to get more from a visit.
The confirmed weekend
Skærbæk Fan Weekend is scheduled for September 26 and 27, 2026, at Skærbækcentret, Storegade 46–48, DK-6780 Skærbæk. The organizer’s public visitor page lists onsite tickets at 60 DKK for adults and 30 DKK for children aged 2–12. Confirm the latest visitor information with the organizer before traveling.
The distinction between a public visit and participation as an exhibiting AFOL matters. A public ticket is not evidence of an exhibitor place or access to registered activities.
Know which schedule you are reading
The organizer’s participant calendar lists the September 26–27 event and separate setup and activity dates. It also states that event registration closed June 30 and model registration closed August 1. Those earlier deadlines should not be mistaken for an invitation to register a new display this week.

Go with a building question

Looking for a particular technique can turn a day of impressive models into a few ideas you can actually use at home.
When a builder is available, ask about one detail rather than demanding a full explanation of the entire model. Ask before touching a display, and respect any photography requests. If you share a model afterward, record the builder’s name and credit the work.
Leave room for discoveries
Our suggestion is to keep a small list of favorite details and leave gaps in the day for conversations. You do not need to collect every possible reference. One clever connection or a new building friend can be enough to make a visit worthwhile.
The event is a reminder that adult LEGO fandom extends well beyond buying the next box. There is pleasure in seeing what somebody else imagined with familiar elements—and in bringing a little of that curiosity back to your own bricks.
