A name on the car, a reason to cheer

A name on a racecar can make race day personal. Big Smiles Racing is inviting supporters to take that idea a step further by helping LittleBricks Charity bring building experiences to hospitalized children.

In a campaign message shared with Inside Lego, supporters are asked to submit their names by September 30. The message promotes two donation options: $40 for a name on the car’s body, or $120 for a name on the hood. It identifies October 31 as race day in Martinsville, Virginia.

What the donations support

LittleBricks says the campaign supports LEGO sets and its Build Experiences for children in hospitals, with a goal of reaching 18,000 children.

The message shared with us describes the $40 option as helping nine children and the $120 option as helping 27. Those are campaign estimates, not independently verified outcomes; the website currently displays different per-donation estimates. The central invitation is straightforward: support opportunities for play while adding your name to the racecar design.

How to take part before the cutoff

Visit the official campaign page and select a racecar name-placement option. A regular donation does not include a name on the car.

The September 30 deadline comes from the message supplied to Inside Lego. The website currently contains an invalid September 31 date, so confirm the submission cutoff directly with LittleBricks and avoid waiting until the last moment.

Before submitting, check the spelling of the name you want displayed. If you are contributing as a gift, consider asking the recipient how they would like their name written. Save your confirmation so you can follow up with the charity if needed.

Share the invitation

For a LEGO club or a group of racing fans, this could be a simple cause to share together. Send the official link with a sentence about why the mission matters to you. You might also build a small racecar of your own while following the campaign’s updates—a personal way to connect the excitement on the track with the joy of making something from bricks.
